1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FaceShapesAI website and tools at faceshapesai.com (the "Service"), operated under the brand FaceShapesAI. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Who Can Use the Service
The Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 16, and you must not use it if you are under that age. Before uploading a photo you are asked to confirm your age, and that confirmation is enforced on our server as well as in your browser.
3. What the Service Does
FaceShapesAI analyses photos you upload and measurements you enter, providing face shape detection, symmetry scoring, eye, nose and lip shape analysis, golden-ratio proportions, celebrity and K-pop look-alike matching, skin tone analysis, body shape calculation, and related styling guidance.
Every result is for entertainment, self-discovery and general styling guidance only. Nothing on the Service is medical, cosmetic, dermatological, psychological or professional advice. Do not rely on any result here when making a decision about cosmetic surgery, dermatological treatment or any other medical procedure.
4. Accounts
- Many tools work without an account, at a lower daily limit.
- An account requires an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
- You must give accurate information when creating an account.
- We may suspend or close an account we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently or abusively, including abuse of the referral or bonus-credit system.
5. Photos You Upload
By uploading a photo you confirm that:
- You are 16 or older.
- The photo is of you, or you have the clear permission of the person in it to upload it for analysis here.
- You will not upload a photo of another person without their consent, and you will not upload a photo of a child other than your own where you hold parental authority.
- The photo does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what happens to a photo after upload, including that it is not permanently stored. We may refuse to process any upload we reasonably believe breaks these Terms.
6. Credits, Plans and Bonus Credits
- The Service runs on a credit system. Free visitors and free accounts get a limited number of scans per day; paid plans unlock a higher monthly allowance and extra features, as set out on our Pricing page.
- Referral and rewarded-ad credits are a goodwill bonus and may be capped, limited or withdrawn if we detect abuse — for example creating multiple accounts to claim referral bonuses repeatedly.
- Credits have no cash value and are not transferable or redeemable for cash, except as described in our Refund Policy.
7. Subscriptions and Payment
- Paid plans are billed in US Dollars, monthly or annually as selected at checkout.
- Payment is handled by Stripe, Paddle or Lemon Squeezy, depending on which is active at the time. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled beforehand. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refunds.
- We may change pricing with notice. Changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to harass, defame, impersonate or invade the privacy of any person.
- Upload a photo of someone else without their permission.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or extract our models, code or celebrity reference database.
- Use bots or scripts to get around daily usage limits or credit restrictions.
- Use any result to make a false claim of identity, resemblance or attractiveness ranking in a commercial, legal or official context. Look-alike results are a statistical proportion comparison, not a verified claim of resemblance.
- Use the Service in any way that breaks applicable law.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design and the celebrity reference database we maintain, belongs to FaceShapesAI and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.
You keep ownership of the photos you upload. Uploading a photo grants us only the limited right to process it to generate your result, as described in our Privacy Policy. We claim no ownership of your photo and use it for nothing else.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that any result — face shape, symmetry score, look-alike match or any other measurement — is accurate, complete or suitable for a particular purpose.
Results are produced by automated software and are affected by photo angle, lighting, image quality and the inherent limits of the measurement methods involved. Several of those limits are described openly on the relevant tool pages.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FaceShapesAI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions made in reliance on any result it produces.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
